Old Diary Poem by Nosheen Irfan

Old Diary

Rating: 4.8

As eyes pore over the words
Fading in the diary that still
Holds the carcass
Of a rose.
A discovery is made...
Love is long gone
Taking away with it
All the good things
Except the urge
For more love
For better love.

Nosheen, I thought 'pour', not 'pore', but I WAS WRONG! They are homophones. 5 stars. VERY nice! bri : )
