On A Calendar Poem by Kewayne Wadley

On A Calendar

Let's go, she jumped up & exclaimed,
Discrimination isn't something to
be afraid of.
The fear of rejection exists
everywhere there is temptation.
You represent me, as I
represent you.
Together, there is nothing to fear.
Together, we are a dream
Unyielding.
She stretched my heart out &
Marked it like a calendar.
The only thing that waits, is us
