On His Eightieth Birthday
by Walter Savage Landor
Rajnish ji, something is very different in the poem page. I see only advertisements below - so many of them. I kept scrolling down but could not find the vote button at all. Has Poem Hunter changed its lay out? Where is the vote and rating area? I cannot find it. I am really sorry.
Yes, there is something wrong here. It seems that PH has been hacked by some advertising biggies for the sake of easy money. I have lodged a complaint with the admin. You can't get anything after the posted comments except ads.
This poem goes deep into your heart. When your soul-mate leaves before your time, then, nothing is the same. You have to just wait for the day of exit from this world. Wonderfully penned both in English and Hindi..........10
Nicely expressed. What the poem could not do, you have done that. Thank you, Geeta ji, for such a profound and purely sentimental review of the poem and for appreciation as well.

My sincere thanks to you, Kumarmani ji, for your kind and inspiring words about the poem and its Hindi translation.
