On Stars That Twinkle Poem by Ray Quesada

On Stars That Twinkle

Rating: 4.9

When Mind is baked,
time Thinkles
When it rains,
the puddles Plinkle
when we cry,
eyes blink and Winkle
lose your mind - go see a Shrinkle

The beer we drink
goes Drinkle-drinkle
Addiction makes
our chains go Clinkle
Make a wish
on stars that Twinkle
wash the dishes
in the Sinkle

pocket change
goes Jing-a-linkle
All of life happens in a Blinkle
When we get old,
our skin will Wrinkle
And then, we'll die -
and our corpse will Stinkle. : P

This is a very clever construction, it would have been very easy to get lost.

The rhymes are beautiful, love the poem. But without even a glimpse of a woman, Ray.
