One Night Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

One Night

Rating: 5.0

Take this bounty
And prepare it for a meal for two
As I burn these letters of love
That I have written for you
Take this wine
To quench our thirst of lust
We have only this night
After we shall part ways in the morning's light
And reunite
Only the memory of yr kiss
Will unconditionally last until my last breath
But yr face be eased from time

Very nice poem, LeeAnn, but in the last line, did you mean 'erased' instead of 'eased'? (I think it works either way.)
