Onionhead Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Onionhead

Rating: 5.0

Bury me in an abandoned onion field
Make me disappear
I lived a life of hardship
And only thing I can give is money
I know you gave up those things
That were precious to you
But you promised Mum you would
Take care of me
And I want to end that promise
I know I am just a chain of grief
And cannot be broken
I want to go....to make you happy
And be free from guilt

A very sad but intensely personal poem. It's good you got it out! Very deep and touching. Brings out a lot of hurt and deep memories, Of that there is no doubt, Captivates the reader that feels your painful, so touching confession. Quite different ad unforgettable!
