Only, A Lonely Dream. Poem by Sandra Feldman

Only, A Lonely Dream.

Rating: 5.0

Fresh lilies cut
On a summer afternoon
Whiteness and purity,
Angelic, dust
Softly falling
On life's,
Peaceful lagoon.

That's how I envisioned
Our life, together,
Sharing, all the good
And the bad,
But with the greatest
Happiness, we had
Ever had,
Yet, the lilies died
Before.
They had a chance,
To envision,
This love that remained
Only, a dreamt, romance
In our silent past.
