I don't have a little brother.
I don't have a sister, too.
It's just me and Mom and Daddy
but there's lots of things to do.
Sometimes we go on picnics
and play ball until it's dark.
Sometimes we play on slides and swings
when we go to the park.
We can go and see a movie,
other days go to the beach
where I can get sand dollars
and Daddy helps when I can't reach.
I wish I had a brother.
I'd like a sister, too,
but it's me and Mom and Daddy
and there's lots of things to do.
I am the oldest of three, and it ain't no Fun I'm tellin ya, Little sis is like a Big Mouth with two legs that run staright to MUM, and brother well fighting most days...so I'd have a good think before I wish, nice one dave xxx
This is a sweet one CJ, flows really well and has a lovely swing to it. Love Ernestine XXX
Wonderfull stuff CJ. It shows the upside to that inate selfishness that most children have in that they will make do and are not bothered about sharing. Again you use that childish way of presenting people which always starts with 'ME'. Another winner Love Denis Joe
I really relate to this, C.J. When I was four, my parents found me in my back yard on my knees praying God would send me a baby brother. (He never did!) Only kids will enjoy this one.
I like this one, C.J. It flows very well. I can't really relate (I'm the second oldest - and only girl - of four) , but it's lovely just the same. Shannon
I'm actually oldest of six...13 years older than my youngest sister. LOL CJ

I would like to translate this poem
CJ, I'm the last of six. The baby, or as my sibs would put it, the big baby. I always enjoy reading your children's poetry because it is written like a child would talk. Ain't many who can do that. Matter of fact, I can only name one I know. That would be you.
