Papercuts Poem by Rev. Dr. A. Jacob Hassler

Papercuts

Rating: 3.5

as she wrote 'i love you' on his Valentine
it cut her with its edges and she took it as a sign

six years later, he's long gone and she disregards
the papercuts she gets with her anniversary cards

This poem speaks volumes with a conservancy of words. Well done.

Nice and edgy. Thanks for not saying everything and letting the reader fill in the blanks.
