Poetically Bound
I must write to explain
Your smile. Your gaze
I am the poet
Who is roped to you
In speech and writing
Like the wind is meant
To search and find
The deepest wound
Of the tree
Like the sea is meant
To meet the golden moment
of the sun
That's how I am born
To be with you.
Yes, it should be the goal of a true poet to find the wounds and feel the pain. Great!
