Poetry Maybe Defined?
A World, all of its own,
Poetry needs no phone
To communicate.
With words for fingers,
It can open, on its own,
The most secret Emotions,
The Heart has ever known.
Defined very well, in my opinion. This poem, like all of yours that I have read, is full of truth.
I appreciate your opinion very much, Kim. To put what humbly, I write, near the truth satisfies me greatly. If we poets don't try to tell the truth, who will? I am terribly flattered by your kind words for which I thank you very much.

I have mentioned before that you have an amazing ability to see things in ways the rest of us mortals would not. - - - - - - - - - ] With words for fingers, It can open, on its own, The most secret Emotions, The Heart has ever known. [- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Reading you will definitely expand my horizon- -and my writing- -and that is what we must all try to do, expand our horizon. To become poetically moribund is a fate worse than death to a poet or prose writer.. Thank you for dedicating this lovely poem to me, I'm so proud and tickled that my husband says my head looks like an over-inflated balloon.
