Poetry wrote me
Fear of flying
Stopped them from soaring
Eagle has landed
"Eagle has landed" immediately reminds me of the 1975 book by Jack Higgins and the 1976 film by John Sturges. The poem weaves around the fear of flying and maybe altitudes…nicely done
I'm surprised that you didn't mention Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landing on the moon. In addition to your correct interpretation of the poem, it has another significant meaning. My friend Menon, THX so much for the comments and for following this series.
Love that you love the poem, especially 'the way of the last line'. It is meant as an emphatic applause for the success that the clients had accomplished. LeeAnn, this kind of constructive criticism is Always greatly appreciated!
Very enigmatic, yet deeply layered, fear stops so many from doing so many things. Nicely written Richard!
Hypnotherapy was the most enigmatic work of my life, Kevin! And what great work it was! THX so very much for your positive comments, my friend.
Poet Panda, 'wow' reminds me of Daniel Brick...for me, it's a highest form of positive constructive criticism. Thank You so very much, Anil!
