Son of Osiris- - - - - - - - - - -and guardian of us all
What may be the reason- - - - -I am born so small

Chasing cats a pleasure- - - -that I've been denied
All the felines close by- - - - - - - -are bigger than I

Sometimes my loud barking- will put them in fear
Only to end up laughing- - - - - - - when I get near

Do me please a kindness- bring them down in size
Or make me much larger- - and no more despised

Do it right and proper- - - - -the next time around
All dogs to be equal- - - - - - - -the size of a hound
Anubis please respond- - -with wisdom profound
