When you say something,
I believe it without any doubt.
When you promise me something,
If it gets fulfilled or not,
I do not worry about.
I wait and I wait in good faith, yet
When I see your promise not kept,
I do still wait,
With the hope that it would be met,
Someday, to come yet.
Every new day as it comes,
I look for your response as promised.
Not finding it,
I do not despair, but choose to wait
For another morning, another day,
And not allow my faith to sway.

I like the serene simplicity of this poem and the rhythms of the repetitions. This conveys the sense of time, simply waiting and hoping. Your poem suggests you have patience and trust - which are not easy qualities to cultivate! I hope your faith will be rewarded with the promise kept.
what matters more than the promise is our faith...very cogently expressed.
promise is the existence of love and faith so far its long to prove or stand.... nicely written...
It's all about faith in life no matter how easy or hard it is and to keep it a lifetime. To forever cherish it and count one's blessings.
