Promise Not To Be - Poem by Hope Ramone
Touch me baby,
Make me feel as if I'm awake,
Touch me so my senses start to break,
Feel me baby,
Make me want to scream,
Make me feel unreal as it never seems,
Seems to be the love we share.
Oh, do you care?
Is it me you wish to hold on to?
Is it me you want to love so true?
'Cause I do not feel that anymore,
Show me what you've got in store.
Tell me baby,
Tell me that the wind wouldn't blow,
Tell me that the moon wouldn't glow,
If I weren't around.
Look at me baby,
Stare me down with your eyes,
Make them cry the same cries,
Let them crawl all over me,
I'll show them what they want to see.
Look at me.
I'll stare at you,
If you stare at me,
I'll let you feel the emotion,
If you promise not to be,
The one that rocks the ocean,
The one that steals my fragile heart from me.
