Propaganda To Serve Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Propaganda To Serve

I had never heard anyone craving,
Propaganda to them served.
Or a preference how they wished it.

More each day,
Truth deceivers are trying to find...
Another way to explain their incompetence.
With hypocrisies as appetizers.
Dress to impress and fake smiles,
While addressing the seriousness...
Of a pandemic.
That a child not yet mentally corrupted,
Could explain much more direct and clear.

If it has not yet been recognizable.
There is a difference between delusion,
And truth.
Truth to get,
Is seldom overdone or sweetened.
And not always accepted to debate.
Leaving the facts spread out on the table.

As for delusion?
People are persuaded to accept,
What has yet to occur.
But made believed,
They can both taste, see and feel it.
By those gifted to entertain deception.
And fed to infest imaginations.

I had never heard anyone craving,
Or reminiscing it missed.
To taste the deliciousness wished,
Of that crispy to get propaganda.
Although...
Seeing it delivered as it is,
On a daily basis and over supplied.
It's no longer left to wonder why,
The people are seeking honesty and truth.
And a lot more substance,
Than propaganda to produce it...
Seems to become more these days,
Too nauseating for the people to believe...
This has been their way of life,
Long before they heard the 'wake up' call!
