But pussycat is better
A dog barks to no end
The cat's meow is kinder

Just a matter of preference, suppose, in this dog-cat conference. Enjoyed your verse.

Preference...just like everything else in life! Conference comments are always great. The Condiment Series had generated a lot of them. Happy that you enjoyed my poem, Sandra!

But, the cat's claws are sharper. And as Kim, says, the cat owns you, while the dog takes care of you.

Depends on the dog, and on the cat. Dogs can be trained to only bark when necessary to alert the family to some crisis. Cats have a mind of their own. People don't own cats. Cats own people.

I agree to disagree, LeeAnn. I love both cats and dogs.
