Time and unforeseen occurrences,
I thought only coincided with death,
However I sit here today and say,
My heart has officially passed away.
I was given a gift that I cherished deeply
We coexisted…
But soon she’ll be gone
And to try and live I’d rather not risk it
Yes I declare this a eulogy from me to the world
An announcement on this sacred day
Though I claimed that I was immortal
My heart has officially passed away
Without air in a tire a wheel cannot stand,
Without dirt in the ground a flower cannot grow,
Without Oxygen man cannot live,
And she is the air in my world.
She told me she’s going away and I knew
That my time is coming shortly
I would try to fight, but what could I do?
I’m better off trying to break brick with a glass fist
I lied to myself and believed I was independent
But that’s because her love seemed indefinite
And even though it may be she’ll be so far away
And my heart officially passed away…today
