Purity
=========
Purity is a virtue
That evolves from within.
Irrespective of it's source
It emanates it's beauty.
Beautiful lotus ascends
From a pond, filled with muck
The powerful sphinx ascends
From a big heap of ashes! !
Establishing and confirming
The power of truth.
Purity is a gift of holy spirit
Makes you feel so great and content.
Purity is so serene,
That can't be tainted by any means.
No matter whichever way
You attempt to blemish this.
Purity is a virtue
That evolves from within.

Amitava, I love the message in this poem. Purity is definitely a virtue that evolves from within. It can't be tainted by any means. You described it perfectly and beautifully! Thank you, RoseAnn
Purity is a very subtle thing liberated from anything that debases, contaminates, pollutes........ Free from guilt or evil......innocent like an angel baby............. very well composed indeed....Amitavajee

Beautiful poem. Very true said, Purity is a virtue That evolves from within. Yes, purity has to evolve from within. It remains pure, even if it arises from muck. purity can't be tainted by any means. Lotus is the best example of purity. I loved reading it. Thanks for sharing.
All the ways ultimately arrive at the same destination of purity and God is pure. A nice write.
A positive and powerful portrait of purity.
