Queen Of The Night Poem by Rini Shibu

Queen Of The Night

Rating: 4.9

You cant deny your
love for the moon
You can't live without light
in the dark
Look at the beauty of moon
in the sky
Surrounded by the winking stars
The sun is lurking behind
but still giving her his love
Are you jealous of her charms
Or you feel you don't deserve her love
You can't hide from her
because she is always watching you
And waiting to drench you in her love
She is queen of the night

Love is like the fragrance of the queen of night that enters in our heart and soul so slowly that we are unaware that we have been enchanted. a beautiful poem.

There is a quiet journey here that becomes very personal in the end and poses a few profound thoughts. Portraying the moon as a symbol of unconditional, unwarranted love, a love not to be earned, but to be received is very divine in its essence. And reminds me of the scripture that reveals that the moon is a gift to man (and woman) , to keep us from being lonely in the night. A beautiful poem, Rini. Thanks!
