Quickie-Retiree Poem by Loke Kok yee

it must have been slippery work holding the frog down by its feet! so you think retirement has no stress? well, stresses are different, i confess. to get up and go to work, ONE used to be, but now JUST getting up can be....misery! as for developing a gigantic tummy, it's hard not to when things are yummy, you've moved from a bothersome house, and curled up in an apartment like a mouse, no lawn to mow, no house exterior to paint, no mile walk to work (each way) , no................... ................................ ice cream break. the heck with the poem! I'm RETIRED! ! ! ! bri ;)

Well now, so true some do sit back and get fat, ought to take up walking eh...Love this but must say that often the stress becomes worse in old age.
