Quizzing A Champion Poet Poem by Sandra Feldman

Quizzing A Champion Poet

Rating: 5.0

There are no
Happy Endings,
Not even,
In the movies, now!
We lived in eternal,
Fear and wonder
But now,
Just fears
No wonders,
Physical
Or otherwise
How will we
Ever, survive! ? !

So relieved to see these thoughts in the form of a poem. I am relieved because, i was was thinking similarly, but never put it into words, I admire and respect you, Sandra, for bringing it out so gently, without mentioning any names, I am bowled over by Jane Campion's reply too. Salute you both! :) :) ......10

“Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.” [Psalms 37: 37] The best question I have ever encountered, dear Ma’am Sandra....10++++

Remarkable poem which hints at the trajectory taken by man over a period of time. The quality of life has deteriorated. So much hate and so much fear has permeated. One who has seen these changes taking shape with own eyes will endorse this.

The happy beginnings. Conceived so improbably before, Nothingness. Then we march in, so to speak. On our backs, unaware. Then, life expands out of hand. It is not ours to claim. We are enfolded by circumstances beyond our control. Not even able to decide our own fate. Just as we began we are lively improbables. I love this poem as it creates another in my mind.

I love your response. Knew, even before you wrote it, it would come well conceived and truthful. " Not even able to decide our own fate" although here we are luckier in that aspect than many other places, so far! but its getting dimmer and dimmer. Thank you, dear Jane. I suppose you know who the Champion Poet is.....
