Rain And Flames Poem by Tiffany Rose Moczydlowski

Rain And Flames

She's restless as a storm
Her eyes just as dark
The thunders rage within
As her screams pierce the park
No one knows she's there
But she no longer cares
Her trust in broken pieces
Her outlook turned too bleak
She's caught up in the wreckage
And her mind she feels is weak
Only places security in the deep
Velvety darkness of
The beautiful eerie night
For nothing else, no one,
Remains constant
But can she have faith
That her the sky will aid?
The only place to put her hope
Is in a phoenix's inferno
Then Life's truths she could forget
If rebirth is as quick as death
These thoughts tumble about
As she takes her lighter out
The fire's bite lulls her mind
But the rain conquers the flames
It swallows up her means of ending life
Bidding her to feel alright
Its clearness captured by her thunder
The sky's last plea tonight
So she decides to search for time
And the rain conquers her flames

When the flames of life pierces our very existence then we are at our wits end in trying to figure our way out. If we would soon have enough patience then the refreshing rain will come and put the flames out. An inspiring write.
