In re-birth, Heart comes to me as a gift
Wrapped in mystery—ribbons of surprise!
In hope for peace, the troubled spirit shifts
Away from brain-control—hell in disguise!
With warm heart, I touch joy and pain again;
In sadness and despair—all imprecise;
Though it is a miracle—all's in vain!
Through madness, loss—no more myself disguised;
Through ache of heart, now, —I can see clearly:
Sufferance taught me the Light of the Sphere,
Illumed new paths before me—love dearly!
My heart's serene with joy, and out of fear,
In all its beauty, in bright light, alive:
The brave—brave survivor, bursting with life!
The brave survivor! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
