Realities Ideality Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Realities Ideality

Rating: 3.5

We live & breathe,
Reaching in verbatim without knowing how
Contrasting action than words.
I felt I was dreaming
The first moment I looked at you
(We met &) everything changed
Despite words.
Verbal thoughts that act without reason
A sense of comfort
(The) reflection of ones self, gazing into the eyes of another
Unable to stop the thoughts that pour in like rain
A threshold that soon floods.
The suddenness of any where, any place
Devoured in the eyes of the moment
Hands held in deep longing
Moments you, no longer belong to you
The recklessness of being given away
As our lungs usher out breath
Taking for granted that the next may not come.
I felt I was dreaming
