Red Roses Poem by Rini Shibu

Red Roses

Rating: 5.0

Those days were gone
When I was your flute
and you were the breath
Together we produced
mind blowing tones
Flute without a blow
is a dead piece of wood
Burning into ashes
in the fireplace of memories
giving you warmth
Wish those ashes you would add
in the pot of red roses
So I can give a fragnant retreat
and adorn your mind and soul
