Red Roses Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Red Roses

Rating: 5.0

I see red roses scarlet hue
I long to pick a bunch for you,
To lay them on your resting place,
I long to see your smiling face.
And when the day by chance we meet,
In heavens graceful home I'll seek,
For you my one and faithful friend,
We'll walk together once again.
Hand in hand neath setting sun,
Together again we will be one,
When you will keep me safe and warm,
Within our final heavenly home.
