Roses At Sunrise (Sonnet) Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Roses At Sunrise (Sonnet)

Rating: 5.0

Rosy rosebuds seek the sun at sunrise
With each silk-petal, sensually unfurled:
Perfumed, and pearlescent beneath its eyes,
Moist with morning-dew: and the sunrays curled
Emanate such pure vapours of delight:
Caress with a gleamy touch and pleasure,
In Nature's game of fecundity bright,
Manifesting life in silent leisure:
Birds, of all varieties, are chirping
In vibrant atmosphere, —exuberant;
In perfect orchestration they're harping
With spring and souls cheerfully susurrant;
Fresh hopes and dreams rise in luminescence:
Existence, —and its splendorous essence!
