Sad Song, Triste Chanson.....
It hurts so much
To have to forget you,
Our present was so short
But forgetting you,
Will be my Tragedy,
Forever,
Practically, impossible!
For I learned
To love you,
Like the rose,
Loves the earth,
That hugs her,
And nurtures her roots,
Sustaining her beauty,
Her home and her truth.
I will be orphaned,
And deprived of all light
Without you,
The light that emanated
From your bountiful spirit,
That I shared, so closely
And loved, so much!
And,
What will I do
Without you?
As the sun sets
Over the empire
Of our dreams
And the sea swallows
Up, the horizon
Leading, to no where.
To love you, Like the rose, Loves the earth...lovely expression! A beautiful poem.....10
If a friend or relative forgets this hurts really. We love Earth and we love heaven. Love cannot be betrayed. Love empowers us. We hope, power of love will be regained soon. A sad poem is well penned.10
