Secrets Of The Soul Poem by Sandra Feldman

Secrets Of The Soul

Rating: 5.0

Secrets of the Soul,
Those deep,
Deeply alone
The secret tones
That hold the key
Of what a person is
And wants to be.

Secrets of my soul
They were not, just for me
I did so want to share them,
But never found
That kindred soul,
Except, in Poetry.

Secrets of the soul, of what a person is, and wants to be. We reveal them through our poetry We desperately want to share But kindred souls are rare Great poem, Sandra!

Oh but poetry betrays us all in a good way, it searches our innermost feelings, it goes beyond the deep, bringing pleadings and petitions that we in ourselves are incapable of doing, and better than that, it puts our hand in others and we walk all together without fear, for the secrets of the soul we all exchange through poetry, great poem Sandra!
