lighting a candle in the dark
slipping through the sleeping house
sitting beside the Christmas tree
reflecting on all its myriad lights
thinking of seraphim and cherubim
singing joy to a weary world on a holy night
remembering a Bethlehem star forever shining and guiding those like me
seeking a moment of peace and quiet
