She's All Alone - Poem by mari garcia

i couldn't tell you i couldn't say why she felt that way everyday
i couldn't help her i just watched her make the same idiotic stupid mistakes
she was all alone with no shelter or home or family and friend to call her own
she was at ease tormented with pain she was the girl that brought the rain
she was so cold and very poor her mom didn't want her she could'nt take anymore
she lived on the streets she lived on her own she begged her mom to take her home
she can't stop crying she can't seem to find all the things she left behind
turn around and open your eyes you'll find all the reasons why
you've been rejected you've been misused your life is running as short as a fuse
she's losing her mind and can't find a place she can't reach her dreams she's losing her faith
she's just sixteen and scared as hell what happened to her i can't tell
