Silence Of The Grass Poem by Aufie Zophy

The grass, I sat on, was enveloped in silence;
I sat there in awe and complete reverence.
The twinkly grassy green was pleasing my mind,
When it whispered in sign language something really kind:

"No matter how often we got cut, we keep on growing.
Our green blades are forever smiling and brightly glowing.
We catch in our loving arms, leaves falling from trees so high.
We act as soft and gentle carpet to anyone who is walking by:
We cover the soil and protect you from dirtying your feet.
Our loving Creator provides at every moment whatever we need
He has put in our little hearts a pack of tremendous love
And we hope that you can take this amazing gift from above,
And spread a message of love and peace to all on earth,
Since it is the gift, the message of most incredible worth."

My mind was dazzled, still by the grass' fabulous green
I was still amazed by what I had heard and seen
Now here, I take the message of the grass to share:
Let us all cherish love and peace and take forever care…
