How many quarters can you put
in an empty half-pint jar?

My answer is one. After you put in one, the jar is no longer empty.

OK, KIm. my first guess was FOUR 'quarters'. 4x1/4 is '1', ...a WHOLE, and....if the jar is full aka 'whole', no more can be put into it! ! Are you 'following' me so far? ? bri : )
