nights are so terrifying
memories of you so clear
always screaming, crying
i was begging for escape
your whispers still haunting
I hear them wishing for more
its always reminding me
of what you would steal
i feel your eyes following
your presence strangles
it chokes the life out of me
your touch always stings
and your words slice deep
afraid to turn every corner
wondering if you are waiting
still watching my every move
i will be a step ahead this time
be gone before your next attack
