Sleepyheads Poem by Dee Daffodil

Sleepyheads

Rating: 5.0

I watch them,
Snuggled in their beds
As sweet slumber
Spins a web
Of dreams
And I realize
Just what they mean
To me

They are the heaven
The earth, the sun
And the moon
The oceans, the wind,
And the first day of June

They are snowflakes that fall
On that first wintry day
They are wonderful beings
So happy at play

They are laughter and love
From the heavens above
And I love them
Oh how I love them...

More than life itself.

Oh how sweet. I love these sort of poems. Such a warm, cosy feeling comes over me when I read them. Wonderful, Dee. Love, Fran xxx

Dee, let us thank the good Lord for all those little blessings. They can make you tear you hair apart but still make you clutch your sides with laughter. We love them. Excellent poem.
