Smoking Tom.... [ S H O R T; 'bad' Habits; Dedicated To Tom Billsborough, A Friend On P H, Even Though He I S English! ]
It's not too unlike a smoking gun,
bringing death with the setting sun.
I don't ever smoke cigar or cigarette,
but my brain may smoke when I am upset.
Perhaps your smoking habit fills a great need,
like your habit of gnoshing smoked meat with greed.
If you cheat in the kitchen and smoke up all the rooms,
it may be better than getting too upset and causing booms.

Did you hear that Tom is going to China? Instead of Smoking Tom, Now you can call him Peking Tom! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

It is humorous in tone, but gives a grave warning to all smokers! The best line in the poem is......'my brain may smoke when I am upset.'.........................So very true! ! .
