So Close (C) 5-23-2010



Was it something I said?
Was it something I did?
Or didn’t do,
How was I so close but so far?

I could feel her hands on my heart,
And I felt my eyes in her soul,
But where did she go?

I could never forgive myself,
Did she want me? Did she think about me?
I can’t tell, but it seems as though she did,
I was so close, and now I’m so far.
