So You Can Laugh Poem by Richard Wlodarski

So You Can Laugh

Rating: 5.0

I feel your heart
I was there then
Where you are now
When you had cried
I felt sorrow
When you had laughed
I laughed with you
Your heart now deadened
My heart now softened
I now cry for you
So you can just laugh

Beautiful, melancholy, color of love. You captured the essence of this one-sided relationship. Too often we stay in these relationships when we should save our souls and leave regardless of how the heart whimpers and whines and cries for mercy.. Top marks.
