Someone Else's Mistakes Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Someone Else's Mistakes

Her attitude was nonchalant;
But her eyes.
Her eyes screamed don't go

She wasn't crazy, she'd just been hurt
To the point nothing felt real
Except what she was made to believe

To be patient and embrace the moment
It's not fair to be punished for
Someone else's mistakes
