Someone Special - Poem by Chris Miller

Someone that makes the night sky sing,
The One that makes my dark night gleam.
Someone that seems so right—
So perfect, so beautiful, just right.
Someone that turns the pages of my heart,
The one I dare not be apart!
Someone so amazing,
Someone that makes my heart sing.
Out of her eyes comes a warm embrace.
The trance of her kiss upon my face.
From her hands comes completeness,
By her voice my weakness.
I dance on the wind of her song of love.
She’s truly a blessing from above.
My dreams so vast like the ocean I sail on.
The anchor of her love I forever stand on.
Her resounding whisper breaks my chains!
In loneliness I no longer remain!
Tied up and bound to a meaningless life,
An angel came along and saved my life!
