I mowed my lawn today for the last time
this year (I think) . The weather has been warm.
Here it is the middle of November
and my tomatoes are still producing!
My geraniums have done well this year.
They were bigger and brighter than ever.
They also crowded out my marigolds.
The lobelias went by the wayside, too.
Never have I seen anything like it.
Don't stand too close. Who knows what they could do?
Lovely picture. One year I left my geraniums out a day too late. Disaster. A great flower, though and easy to propogate. We get oddly mild winters here. Gulf Stream and we're near the coast. A really good poem.

Great poem, however I checked the syllable count on my counter, and it shows line 4 and 8 with 11. It's wrong about line 4, giving 4 syllables to tomatoes, but seems to be right on line 8. Check it out.
fingers make a great syllable counter and it keeps you young (and human)
It's wrong about line eight also. Here in Utah we pronounce 'lobelia' with just three syllables, not four. loh-BEEL-yuh and if you look on dictionary.com they agree with me. Check it out.
