Talent, treasure and trust
were hobnobbing together
about their unique possession.
Talent said that I leave a man
immediately after he quits to learn,
comes back only when she/he
starts again.
Treasure stated that I leave
any person as soon as she/he
stops to cut his coat
according to his cloth
and thus becomes a borrower.
I return when he /she realises his folly and becomes a frugal spender.
Trust was sad and silent.
When asked repeatedly
it sobbed and said once I quit,
never any reinstatement.
