Darling, darling, darling.....
He desires her,
when desire fills his eyes,
his lips cannot help but utter sweetness,
every fiber of his being is ready to submit.
And she knows what he wants,
like day follows night,
sky follows a galaxy of stars,
water follows a river.
But the reality is that she desires it too.
Perhaps you could argue that the tea is too hot to drink.
2) the concluding line is marvellous, dear poet
Good sordid commentary on human nature. Loved it
Liked your Tea metaphor. And the analogy between Lips and Tea. Life, though sweet, at times becomes unbearably hot to taste. Beautiful piece
Yeah very true, humans have that power to think, imagine and perform else all will be animals.
Desire is well depicted in this wonderful poem. A very keen observation on a human being's behavior. Well crafted.

I would like to translate this poem
I liked the way you wrote this poem, apart from biological needs we humans have emotional requirements as well.
