from 'While Passing Through'/Summer
Bees on Russian Sage—
me sweeping ground beneath them—
it's this dance we do.
I love this - how you discovered what you're doing, what they're doing, both separate are suddenly one common activity in your flash of perception. This is the magic and the swiftness of haiku. and myself the faraway reader. I too am pulled into this moment of unity.
cool! i'm glad. and as many as the bees are- they really seem to like the flowers of this plant- they've never stung me; in slightly different words, it feels to me like we have an understanding. thank you, daniel, for reading and commenting. -glen
