The Conquest Of Constentinople Poem by Mohammad Muzzammil

The Conquest Of Constentinople

In distant days of ancient lore,
A conquest shook Constantinople's core.
Turks, with valor, marched upon the walls,
Their might echoing through the halls.

The city, once a Byzantine gem,
Now faced the Ottoman's diadem.
Through battles fierce, they fought the fight,
To claim the city, bathed in light.

With cannons roaring, they broke the gate,
And destiny sealed Constantinople's fate.
Mehmed the Conqueror led the way,
As victory shone upon that day.

The ancient walls, once grand and tall,
Now witnessed the rise and the fall.
The Hagia Sophia, a treasure anew,
Transformed by the hands of a conqueror true.

The conquest echoed through the years,
A turning point that still appears.
For Istanbul, a new chapter unfurled,
As Turks embraced a changing world.

So let us remember this historic tale,
Of triumph and the city's veil.
The conquest of Constantinople's might,
Forever etched in history's light.
