The Conversion From Sense To Spirit Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

The Conversion From Sense To Spirit

Rating: 4.7

The vitality and the efficiency
of the conversion
from sense to spirit
depends on the vividness
of the apprehension
of the new reality.

The awakened subject is not merely
to perceive transcendent life,
but to participate therein.

In the process, the mind constructs
from the general and ineffable
intuition of reality,
the personal and
imperative concept.

A very intellectual poem! to participate therein - is the main appeal to the action, I think!

Dear Tony, your last stanza is very deep, almost scares me. Who is able to see the pure, absolute reality except God? Excellent! I would give you a lot of 10 votes.

Beautiful and inspiring poem, Tony! Yes, living in a transcendental love is intensely spiritual, I feel it's as close as we can get to the Divine here on earth, it takes us from our physical world into the mysterious mystical sphere of an absolute purity and goodness that can never be attained otherwise. A profoundly simple portrayal of God's inherent wonder and mercy for we mere mortals.10+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thank you for sharing this beautiful path to a full life here on earth. RoseAnn
