The Goodness In The Universe Poem by Soran M. H

The Goodness In The Universe

Rating: ★5.0

The Goodness in the Universe

when the sun departed
you slept
but the rain didn't
.
At dawn
you woke up
with the various birds' songs
and the flourish of
bright and colourful petals
.
then you knew
there is no place for sadness
in nature's carnival
.
there ….
a pure beauty
and true loyalty
still exists

I remember to have commented on this poem! Unfortunately it is not showing up! It is disappointing! Let me comment once more.....! There is so much of beauty in Nature. Much of it is hidden in deep pockets. If one opens his eyes and looks around, he can see it. Nature hardly disappoints. Some great poets like Wordsworth derived a lot of inspiration from Nature. When Nature celebrates her carnival of colours, there is room for mirth alone and no place for any sorrow. A lovely lyrical write!

Loved the word nature's carnival-- a very striking metaphor that paints a place of joy and celebration.

One of the best poems on nature that I have ever read. A great tribute to Mother Nature depicting its absolute reliability: sun always rises, rain always falls, and the flowers always bloom .

Revisiting this magnificent and deeply comforting poem that captures a timeless truth about our relationship with the natural world. It gives us a gentle reminder that even in our sorrow, Mother Nature continues its quiet work of renewal and healing.
