The Greatest Miracle Of All Time On Earth Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

The Greatest Miracle Of All Time On Earth

Rating: 5.0

Passion is the big Word tonight
prayer meeting
for the last hours of Jesus

with Peter
who denies Him
up to three times

Jesus has already predicted that

without any violence
but with intense sorrow

you cannot see that from the outside

and Judas betrays him
for thirty silver ducats

memory of the garden of Getsémané:
Jesus went out to pray,
when he came back
the disciples had all fallen asleep,

the mind is willing,
but the flesh is weak,

the soldiers came to pick him up and
Jesus was taken to Calvary,
the most painful death awaited him,

Pontius Pilate
couldn't decide,
he concluded that Jesus was innocent,

the opinions are divided,
the crowd chose Barrabas
the murderer must be free!

Why did God allow this to happen?
without this God could no longer approach mankind

and we can't reach God anymore,
humanity would be lost forever,
so God sent His only Beloved Son
to earth to die for mankind,
that we can be delivered from our sins.
