The Greedy Humans Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Greedy Humans

Rating: 5.0

I have seen leaves
Going old and falling
When the cold wind of
Winter starts blowing

I have seen trees
Looking empty and bare
Like shadows they
Stand silent and stare

I have seen forests
Vanishing in my land
Creatures fleeing to die
Leaving soil and sand

I have seen people
Dying needing fresh air
The greedy humans suffer
Without getting love and care

Very sad for those greedy humans, IF they get love and care, they are still alive now, because of the deeds of their loved ones, they recovered and would still live

Such a beautiful and thoughtful poem Anil ji. The leaves, trees and forests are like 'Yogis' with no wants or greed. But there is never an end to man's greed.

In the end, greedy humans will suffer because of their misdeeds. A poignant yet wonderful poem with great images.
